Qualification Information

The purpose of the FAQ Level 3 Award in Education and Training qualification is to provide the Learner with the skills, knowledge and understanding in the teaching profession. The introduction gives an insight into the roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training, how to plan and deliver teaching sessions and how to assess and give constructive feedback.

The purpose of the FAQ Level 4 Certificate In Education and Training qualification is to provide the Learner with the skills, knowledge and understanding in developing practical teaching skills, and through the optional Components, prepares teachers to work in a wide range of placements.

The FAQ Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training qualification provides aspiring teachers with the knowledge, understanding and skills relating to wider professional practice in education and training.

This qualification includes understanding professionalism and professional values in education and training, the policy context of education and training and the impact of being accountable to stakeholders and external bodies.

The purpose of the FAQ Level 4 Award in Preparing for the Mentoring Role (RQF) is to provide Learners with the knowledge and understanding required to work in the role of mentor effectively and ethically, and to understand the various aspects and contexts of mentoring.
